Rainer Schulte, the founder of the American Literary Translators Association, edits the Translation Review. For
many years he edited the distinguished journal Mundus Artium. His
books of poems include The Suicide at the Piano, The Other Side
of the Word, and A Language Without Georgrapy. His edited books
inlcude The Craft of Translation and Theories of Translation.
He is Professor of Arts and Humanities at the University of Texas at
Dallas and Director of The Center for Translation Studies.
